Crafted over two intense years of artistic turmoil, "Privileg" is a cathartic journey through the disillusionment and disdain felt towards humanity. NACHTS pulls no punches, delivering a no-nonsense, vehement rant against the lethargy and nebulous expressions that permeate our world. The goal? To be specific, direct, and unapologetically plain.

From the mind of Wiedergaenger (Total Negation, Vargnatt, Absolutum a.o.), this album is a departure from the conventional. With a focus on clarity and intensity, each of the six tracks tells a tale of a narcissist's desire to erase humanity, considering it unworthy of treading the earth any longer. The first-person perspective of the lyrics adds a chilling and personal touch to the narrative.

Recorded solely in Wiedergaenger's private studio, the meticulous process, from songwriting to mastering, is a testament to dedication and artistic integrity. The piano, with its haunting four-part chords, lays the foundation for five of the six tracks, later transformed into multiple layers of guitars that amplify the album's intensity.

Vocal performances on "Privileg" are nothing short of frantic, devoid of any vocal technique, as the recording process had to pause when the vocal chords reached their limits. The final touch, the expert mixing and mastering, was entrusted to Waik Schöner, a longtime musical partner, ensuring the album's sonic ferocity is captured with precision.

Nachts' journey began in 2009, rooted in an analog 90s sound with a tape release. Over the years, five EPs experimented with vintage mics and peculiar equipment, each release evolving the sound aesthetics. "Privileg," however, defies the norm by embracing modern equipment to achieve unparalleled intensity and might.
